IONICWEBCREATOR
Services

Engineering partners for the software your business runs on.

We design, build, and maintain web software for founders and teams who need it done to an engineering standard — typed end to end, accessible by default, and yours to keep. One senior team, from the first architecture decision to long after launch.

What we build

The web software behind real businesses.

Most engagements are one of these — or a few of them together. Whatever the shape, it is built on the same foundation.

  • Customer-facing products

The web application your users open every day — onboarding, dashboards, billing, and everything that has to feel effortless under load.

  • Internal tools & admin platforms

The systems your own team relies on to run operations, review data, and move fast without fighting the software.

  • APIs & backend services

Typed, documented APIs and the services behind them — the contracts your product, partners, and mobile apps all depend on.

  • Design systems & UI libraries

A single source of truth for your interface — accessible components that keep every screen consistent as the product grows.

  • Data & analytics dashboards

Interfaces that turn a warehouse of numbers into decisions — fast to read, honest about what they show, and quick to load.

  • Integrations & automation

The connective tissue between your tools — payments, auth, third-party APIs, and the workflows that remove manual work.

Service categories

Four disciplines, one engineering bar.

Engage us for a whole product or a single workstream. The standard underneath — typed, tested, accessible, owned by you — never changes.

  • Custom Web Development

Web applications built to your business logic, not bent around a template — typed end to end, fast on real devices, and yours to maintain.

  • Product Engineering

An engineering partner for the whole product lifecycle — discovery, architecture, build, and the unglamorous work of keeping it healthy after launch.

  • E-commerce Development

Storefronts and commerce backends built for conversion and for the operations team behind them — fast pages, honest inventory, and checkout that does not lose orders.

  • AI Automation & Internal Tools

Internal tools and AI-assisted workflows that remove the manual work in your operation — grounded in your data, with a human in the loop where it counts.

  • Next.js Development

Next.js applications built the way the framework intends — server components, real caching, and a rendering strategy chosen per route rather than by default.

  • React Development

React interfaces that stay maintainable past the first year — accessible, typed, tested, and built on a component library your team will actually reuse.

  • Node.js Backend Development

Backends that stay boring under load — typed services, a schema that enforces its own rules, and the observability to answer questions at 3am.

  • API Development

APIs designed as products: versioned, documented, predictable under failure, and pleasant enough that integrators do not open a support ticket.

  • SaaS Development

Multi-tenant products built on the decisions that are expensive to change later — tenancy, billing, roles, and the data isolation your first enterprise customer will audit.

  • Technical Consulting

Senior engineering judgement, on the record — architecture reviews, due diligence, and a written plan you can act on whether or not we build it.

  • Shopify Development

Shopify work that respects the platform — fast themes, custom apps instead of app sprawl, and Hydrogen storefronts when the catalogue has genuinely outgrown Liquid.

How we work

A process designed to remove surprises.

The same five phases run every engagement, from a two-week audit to a year-long build. You always know which one you are in and what happens next.

  1. Discovery

We start with the problem, not the solution. Constraints, users, and the outcome you are actually paying for — written down and agreed before anything else.

  2. Architecture

We design the system before we build it. Data models, boundaries, and trade-offs are decided on paper, where they are cheap to change.

  3. Build

Work ships in small, reviewed increments you can see running. No big-bang reveals — you watch the product take shape week by week.

  4. Harden

Testing, accessibility, performance, and observability are part of the definition of done — not a phase we run out of budget for.

  5. Partnership

We stay after launch. Software is never finished, and the team that built it is the cheapest team to keep improving it.

Technology

A small stack we know deeply.

We are not chasing novelty. These are proven, well-documented tools with large hiring pools — chosen so the software outlives the excitement of building it.

New tools earn their place only when they solve a real problem better than what we already trust.

Why businesses choose us

The reasons that show up after the invoice.

Anyone can ship a demo. The difference is in the decisions, the maintenance, and what your team is left holding a year later.

  • Senior engineers only

The people you meet are the people who build. No hand-off to a junior team once the contract is signed.

  • Architecture before code

We think the system through before we type. It is the difference between software that lasts and software that gets rewritten.

  • You own everything

Clean, documented code in your repository from day one. No proprietary lock-in, no black boxes, no ransom.

  • Long-term by default

We build for the version of your product that exists in three years, not just the demo next week.

  • Accessibility is standard

Every interface we ship is usable by keyboard and screen reader. Reaching more people is not an upsell.

  • Honest communication

Direct updates, real timelines, and early warnings. You will always know where the work actually stands.

FAQ

The practical questions, answered.

Anything else, ask us directly — every message reaches a person who builds.

How do engagements usually work?

Three shapes cover most work: a fixed-scope project with milestones, a monthly retainer for ongoing product work, or team augmentation where we embed alongside your engineers. We recommend the one that fits the problem, not the one that bills the most.

What does a project cost?

It depends on scope, but we never leave you guessing. Every engagement starts with a paid discovery that produces a clear proposal — you approve the cost of each step before it begins, with no open-ended meters running.

How long does a typical project take?

Audits and design sprints run one to three weeks. A focused product build is usually six to sixteen weeks to a first release. We scope in small increments you can see running, so timelines stay honest rather than optimistic.

Can you work with our existing team and codebase?

Yes — a large share of our work is exactly this. We augment in-house teams, own a specific workstream, or improve an inherited codebase. We adapt to your rituals and tools instead of imposing ours.

Which technologies do you work with — can we choose?

We specialise in the TypeScript, React, and Next.js ecosystem on a PostgreSQL foundation. If you have an existing stack, we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit rather than pretend to be experts in everything.

What happens after launch?

Launch is a milestone, not an exit. We offer ongoing maintenance and improvement, and everything is documented so your team can take the wheel whenever you choose. There is no lock-in keeping you with us.

Do we own the code and IP?

Completely, from the first commit. Everything lives in your repository, documented and free of proprietary dependencies. If we part ways, your team can keep building without us.

Tell us what you're building.

Bring the problem, not a spec. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right team and outline a concrete first step — no obligation, no sales theatre.
